Lost in the Woods

On the second day of walking on the Creative Camino, three of us got lost in the Kilbride forest, we were distracted by enchanting violin music from Kate Powell, sounds of the trees and a cacophony of bird song from every direction. It felt like we were transported to a different time and space, led astray by woodland fairies perhaps. We discovered ourselves in deep dark pine woods a long way from our fellow pilgrims, facing our fears and potentially dodging a large mystical tree-gnawing creature! Even though we had lost our way, the experience help me feel at home in myself and the group. Sometimes perhaps we need to get lost in order to find our way.
